Make preparation and practice part of the game.

Lessons give golfers something to work on. Preparation, attention, and follow-through help them put it into play.

Practice & follow-through

Turn a lesson into a habit.

When good intentions never become practice, progress stalls. We help golfers choose manageable routines and build the consistency to use what they learn.

Body & mind

Arrive ready for the first tee.

Rushing from the car to the tee leaves little room to prepare. Mobility, movement, breath, and attention form a warm-up adapted to the golfer’s abilities and comfort.

Focus & recovery

Stay with the next shot.

A great start can create pressure to protect a score. A difficult hole can linger. Pre-shot routines and emotional resets help golfers return to the shot in front of them.

Practical mental-performance tools draw on principles used in sports psychology: attention, routines, visualization, and recovery. The routines you practice on the course can also support attention and follow-through in daily life.

Practical coaching. A personal connection.

From golfers who have practiced the work.

“The ability to hit a slice, laugh it off, and play a smart recovery shot to save it made all the difference.”

Mike · weekend golfer

“He worked with me, worked with my game, and helped me own my headspace no matter how I play.”

Understand the game we are training.

What mindset coaching adds, and which experience might fit.

Is this a swing lesson?

No. MindMill Golf complements technical instruction. We work on attention, preparation, decisions, routines, emotional recovery, and trusting the skills you already have.

What if I play well in practice but struggle on the course?

That gap is one reason to explore this work. Real play gives us a chance to notice what happens before a shot, after a mistake, or when the stakes feel higher. We practice ways to reset and commit to the next shot without adding another mechanical swing thought.

Do I need to be a competitive or low-handicap golfer?

The work is relevant to golfers who want to understand their patterns and practice a steadier way to play. Your handicap is only part of the picture. We discuss your experience and goals to decide which format fits.

What is The Mindful Nine?

Nine intentional holes with preparation, live on-course coaching, and a focused debrief. You develop practical routines and resets in the conditions where you will use them. Group formats for three or four golfers begin at $250 per golfer; course access and additional fees are confirmed before booking.

How is that different from Golf + Life Coaching?

The Mindful Nine is a single on-course experience. Golf + Life Coaching is a three-month private relationship for people who recognize that the same patterns around pressure, confidence, or recovery show up on the course and elsewhere in life.

Where does the on-course work happen?

MindMill Golf is based in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. Course, timing, availability, and the right format for your group are arranged by conversation before you book an experience.

Will this lower my score?

No particular score or result is guaranteed. The focus is on practices that support clearer decisions, preparation, recovery, and access to your existing game. We look at progress in the context of your goals, rather than promising a handicap change.
